His Only Son (Spoiler Free)

This was a very special movie. I watched it Easter weekend with my family. It had been a fairly long time since I had seen them too. Now I did cry watching this movie. This movie had a low budget, but the story was absolute wonderful. The acting, scenes, and storytelling was amazing. Even though I knew the story and knew what happens, I was captivated the entire time. I am really glad Angel Studios made it possible to see this in theatres. What made this movie special to me was that they told a story that has been told for thousands of years and had me captivated like I never heard the story before. I am excited for the next movie they do. My theatre was packed when I went on the weekend to watch it with Super Mario Bros still kicking butt in the box office today. Obviously, it's not making Super Mario Bros. money, but that movie set a great foundation for future success in theatres for Bible character movies.
