In my opinion, it wasn't as terrible as the critics claimed. Compared to Thor Love and Thunder and Dr. Strange Multiverse of Madness, I enjoyed this movie more. My theater was filled with laughter after the jokes landed. I am excited for the future of the MCU with Kang. He was my favorite part of the movie. Honestly, the movie was effective marketing for Creed 3. I would much rather have gotten a different story than this one, but it is what it is. I rather the movie take place on Earth, than another Star Wars like planet in somewhere subatomic. The visualization and VFX teams at Marvel and partner companies are working their tails off in today's age of movies. I'd rather Ant-Man shrink a Sequia tree in a fight instead of shrinking something like time itself. After watching the movie, I wanted to discuss it with my friends. There are fun talking points that the movie leaves you with. I probably will watch this movie again at least one more time once it hits Disney+. MODOK was a highlight of the movie. His visuals grow on you as the movie progresses. I think the future is bright, especially with the announcement that Loki Season 2 and Secret Invasion are the only ones airing on Disney+ this year. MCU projects are moving toward quality instead of quantity and is dialing in on what's to come from Kang. I enjoyed the end credit scene for the first time in a long time which led to a future MCU project. Wasn't my favorite MCU movie or even my favorite Ant-Man movie but it was a good time.
